This year, the celebration in Čečejovce took place without the popular cooperative tour. Unfortunately, due to regulations introduced following the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease across Slovakia, access to the cooperative’s premises is restricted to employees only.

The entire celebration was therefore held at the municipal office premises. To ensure children could still enjoy themselves, pony rides were moved to this area. As always, there was also a bouncy castle, toy stalls, and other attractions for them.

The afternoon celebration at the external premises of the municipal office regularly attracts a large number of visitors; this year, around two thousand residents of Čečejovce and the surrounding area attended. Hunters from the Repiská Čečejovce and Prožňa Bohdanovce hunting associations prepared delicious game goulash, while the cooperative offered tastings of cheeses from their own production. Guests could also enjoy traditional Slovak snacks such as langoš and trdelník. The local music band Victory kept the atmosphere lively throughout the event.

We are pleased that on this occasion we can also host our business partners and mayors from surrounding municipalities. This year, we were visited by our business partners and esteemed guests – the CEO of TAJBA a.s., the chairman of RPPK Košice, the head of the Košice – okolie district office, and the mayors of the municipalities where we manage our operations.

We thank all colleagues who participated in organizing these events in Popudinské Močidlany and Čečejovce.
